Khamenei: Iran Will Neither Surrender Nor Accept a Forced War or Imposed Peace

In a powerful televised speech on Wednesday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared that Iran will not surrender to any external pressure, nor will it accept a war or peace that is forced upon the nation.

“We will firmly resist any war that is imposed on us, and we will also stand strong against any peace that is dictated to us,” Khamenei said during the live broadcast, according to reports from Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, cited by Al Jazeera.

Iran Rejects Surrender and Intimidation

Reinforcing Iran’s defiant stance, the Supreme Leader emphasized that Iran has never bowed to coercion and never will.

“We do not surrender to anyone. Our history and spirit do not allow it,” Khamenei asserted.

Warning to the U.S.: Military Action Will Backfire

In a pointed reference to former U.S. President Donald Trump and his earlier threats toward Iran, Khamenei said:

“Those who know Iran and its people understand that the language of threats doesn’t work here. Americans should realize that any military intervention against Iran will undoubtedly have uncontrollable consequences.”

His comments come at a time of renewed tensions between Tehran and Washington, as Western powers push for concessions regarding Iran’s nuclear program and regional activities.

🌍 Why This Story Matters:

Khamenei’s firm statement comes as a bold message to the West, reaffirming Iran’s unwavering national pride and resistance doctrine, while warning global powers about the potential fallout of military escalation.
