In a stunning escalation of covert warfare, Israeli Air Force (IAF) drone strikes have reportedly killed Isar Tabatabaei Kamsheh, a prominent Iranian nuclear physicist, along with his wife Mansourieh Hajisalem, in the heart of Tehran.
According to a statement from Sharif University, Kamsheh—an alumnus of the institution—was targeted in his own apartment building during a precision airstrike carried out last Thursday. The building was later seen engulfed in flames, with viral images surfacing on X (formerly Twitter) showing the aftermath of the blast.
“It was a targeted killing. The operation had one clear goal: disrupt Iran's nuclear infrastructure,” said one anonymous Western intelligence source.
