Tehran, Iran – A chilling call for retaliation is echoing across Iran’s media and political circles following the recent U.S. airstrikes on three major Iranian nuclear facilities. Influential politicians and state-run broadcasters are urging direct attacks on U.S. military bases in the Middle East, marking a dangerous escalation in the Iran-U.S.-Israel conflict.
According to a report by Al Jazeera, Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB Channel 3 aired a detailed map of American military installations across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq—all within Iran’s missile range.
🧨 “All U.S. Soldiers Are Now Legitimate Targets”
Channel 3 host Mehdi Khanalizadeh delivered a fiery message:
“It’s clear now, not just for Iranians, but for all the region’s people—every U.S. citizen and soldier in the Middle East is now a legitimate military target. Trump has chosen coffins for 50,000 American soldiers instead of diplomacy.”
🚀 Missile Strike Proposals from Inside Iran
-
Hossein Shariatmadari, editor of the ultra-conservative Kayhan newspaper, close to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, called for an immediate missile strike on the U.S. Navy base in Bahrain.
-
He also renewed his long-standing call for Iran to shut down the Strait of Hormuz, and block Western shipping from the U.S., UK, France, and Germany.
🧭 “Target U.S. Bases in Saudi Arabia”
Hamid Rasai, a right-wing Iranian lawmaker, echoed the demand:
“Iran must strike U.S. military bases in Saudi Arabia without delay.”
💣 What Triggered This?
On Saturday, the U.S. launched airstrikes on Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites. President Donald Trump later confirmed the attacks, declaring them a success. In response, Iran's Atomic Energy Organization condemned the strikes as “gross violations of international law”, specifically the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Iranian officials have labeled the attack as “a heinous act of war”, and many warn this could be the beginning of open regional warfare.
