The United States and Germany have dispatched 14 cargo planes loaded with military equipment to bolster Tel Aviv’s defenses as tensions with Iran intensify, according to a report by Turkey’s Anadolu Agency.
The report states that these shipments aim to support the Israeli army's “operational preparedness.” It also revealed that, since the outbreak of war in Gaza on October 7, 2023, over 800 military cargo flights have landed in Israel with supplies from allied nations.
In a statement on Thursday, Israel's Ministry of Defense and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that aircraft from allied countries have been continuously supplying Israel with military aid by air and sea since June 13, when Israeli strikes against Iran began. However, officials have not disclosed the specific types of equipment that were delivered.
Meanwhile, on Friday morning, Iran launched a counterattack after an Israeli airstrike, intensifying the ongoing cycle of retaliation. According to Israeli authorities, Iran's missile attacks resulted in at least 25 fatalities and hundreds of injuries. On the Iranian side, Israeli air raids have claimed 639 lives and left more than 1,300 people wounded.
As both sides brace for further escalation, the world watches nervously. International observers fear that this already volatile situation could spiral into a full-blown regional war if diplomatic solutions cannot be reached.
