Tehran, June 22, 2025 — The head of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Major General Mohammad Pakpour, has confirmed that retaliatory strikes against Israel are "ongoing and uninterrupted" as tensions in the Middle East spiral into full-blown conflict.
Speaking during a high-level meeting with IRGC commanders on Sunday, Pakpour declared,
“We are standing at a critical juncture. Our Aerospace Force units are executing continuous operations against the Zionist regime.”
According to Mehr News Agency, the IRGC chief praised the growing solidarity among the Iranian people, particularly in the wake of Israeli aggression launched on June 13, which Iran claims was unprovoked.
